- Funeral services for Mrs. [Alice] Leona
PLATTS, 72, life-long resident of Milton,
- were held Monday afternoon in the home
of Miss Alberta CRANDALL, 406 Park St., Milton. Burial
was in Milton cemetery.
- Mrs. PLATTS died Friday in the
Adair Convalescent home in Milton. She had been
- in poor health for the past year.
- The former Leona DAVIDSON was
born June 11, 1877, in Milton. She attended
- Milton college and taught school for
several years.
- Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jane
STRIPLING, and a granddaughter, both living in
- Japan; three brothers, Russell and
Tom DAVIDSON, Milton, and Arthur DAVIDSON, Amarillo,
Texas, and several nieces and nephews. [Thursday edition,
