Funeral services for Wade [John] LOOFBORO, 84, who died Saturday afternoon
at the Beecher Convalescent home, Janesville, were held Tuesday afternoon in the Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist church, Pastor Kenneth Smith officiating.
He was born in Welton, Iowa, Sept. 15, 1868, the son of John and Susan
LOOFBORO. On March 22, 1893, he was married to Mary Eusebia COON, Milton Junction. They lived in Milton Junction a few years, then moved to Iowa, returning here in 1938. Mr. and Mrs. LOOFBORO celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on March 22, 1943. Mrs. LOOFBORO died nine years ago. Mr. LOOFBORO was a member of the Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist church.
He is survived by two sons, Howard, Edgerton, and Wesley, Milton Junction; three
brothers, Dr. Earl LOOFBORO, Janesville, the Rev. Eli LOOFBORO, Westerly, R.I., and Elmer LOOFBORO, Albion; one sister, Mrs. A. L. BURDICK, Milton. There are five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A brother, Bert, died in 1936.
Burial was in Milton Junction cemetery. [Thursday edition, p. 5]
