- Fred M[onroe] GRAY, 70, was
found dead in his home on Rogers St., Milton
- Junction, Wednesday afternoon. He was
downtown at noon and apparently suffered a stroke after returning
home.
- A resident of this area nearly all
his life, he was born June 22, 1883, in Milton Junction.
- He was a member of Milton Lodge 151
F&AM, and the Milton Grange. He was married Nov. 8, 1905,
to Jessie FOX in Milton Junction. She died Jan. 30, 1946.
He was married to Lucy BYER in February, 1948 and they
were later separated.
- Surviving are six sons, Charles and
Marion, Milton Junction, Elwood and Merton of
- Milton, Clarence and Walter of Edgerton;
two daughters, Mrs. Jerry KNIGHT, Rockford, and Mrs. Robert
HESSELMAN, Edgerton; 19 grandchildren; two brothers, Carl
and Winfred, of Milton Junction, and a sister, Mrs. J. E. McWILLIAMS,
Milton.
- The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday
in the Milton Junction Methodist church, the
- Rev. C. V. Dawson officiating. Burial
will be in the Milton cemetery with Masonic rites. Friends may
call at the Albrecht Funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. [Thursday,
