Mrs. Harvey GREEN, 82, 310 Vernal Ave., Milton Junction, died at 12:30 p.m.
Sunday in Edgerton Memorial Community hospital, where she had been a patient for a week.
Lona [Belle] BALCH, daughter of Charles and Sylvia BALCH, was born on April
25, 1873, on a farm near Milton Junction. She was married to Harry S. GREEN on March 11, 1896, and they lived on farms in the River Road area until 1927 when they moved to Milton Junction. Mr. GREEN died on July 6, 1946.
She was an active member of the Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist Church, the
Ladies Aid society, Milton Historical society, Friendship chapter of the O.E.S. and Milton Grange.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lyle SCHOLL, Milton Junction; two grand-
daughters, Mrs. Donald AHRENS of Beloit and Mrs. Bernard FARMER of Milton Junction; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The Eastern Star funeral service was held at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Albrecht funeral
home.
Pastor Doyle Zwiebel officiated at the funeral service which was held Wednesday in
the Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist church. Bernard FARMER gave the song service. Burial was in Milton Junction cemetery. Pallbearers were Lawrence, Percy, Edward and Erford BALCH, Philip and Kenneth SCHOLL. [Thursday edition, p. 6]

Mrs. R. Loyal HULL, 72, Milton, who has been in ill health several months, died last
Thursday morning in a Whitewater nursing home.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Milton Seventh Day Baptist
church, the Rev. Elmo F. Randolph officiating. Kenneth A. BABCOCK, Milton College, gave the song service. Burial was in Milton cemetery. Pallbearers were Herb LIPKE, Walter SAYRE, B. R. ROOD, Roger BURDICK, W. G. POLAN and George SHELLESTAD.
Rena M. [Irena Mae], daughter of Witter and Ursula GREENE, was born Oct. 20,
1883, in the town of Milton. On Nov. 21, 1906, she was married to Richard Loyal HULL, who preceded her in death.
As a young woman she attended Milton Academy and taught in Rock County rural
schools. She was a member of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church and a past president of the Woman's Village Improvement club. She was a member of the S.D.B. Woman's circle and of Milton Historical society.
Mrs. HULL loved flowers and was artistically inclined.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James HUGHES, Loves Park, Ill.; four sons, Harold,
of Evansville, Ronald of Cleveland, Ohio, Kenneth of Milton, and Wayne, of Waupaca; one brother, Clark GREENE of South Milwaukee who is spending the winter in Van Nuys, Calif.; and 15 grandchildren. A sister died in infancy.
Following the funeral, the relatives were guests at lunch of Mrs. Frank HULL and
Miss Kathryn HULL, Milton Junction. [Thursday edition, p. 5]
