- Mrs. George JACKSON, 76, Evansville,
died in Mercy Hospital, Janesville,
- Wednesday morning, Aug. 5. Funeral
services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Allen Funeral home,
Evansville, the Rev. Walker officiating. Burial was in Milton
cemetery. Pallbearers were Hartley SUMMERS, Kermit, Earl,
Wesley, Lester and Almond HAYNES.
- Leila [Angeline], daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. George HAYNES, was born Dec. 15,
- 1882, in Center Township. The family
moved to a farm near Brooklyn and on March 10, 1906, she married
George (Ted) JACKSON of Milton and they lived here until
moving to Evansville about 44 years ago. Mr. JACKSON died
in 1947.
- Mrs. JACKSON was a member of
the Methodist Church.
- Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. L. John
AUSTIN, of Kensington, Md., [sons] Donald
- of Evansville, Theodore, of Madison,
Richard in service in Germany, and Robert, in service in Texas;
several grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Maude KORBAN,
Janesville. A daughter, Ellen, preceded her in death. [Thursday

- Mrs. Reuben RANDOLPH died Wednesday,
Aug 12, in Janesville. She had been
- failing in health for some time.
- Edith Rebecca, daughter of Daniel and
Francila KNAPP WEBSTER, was born Aug.
- 24, 1874, at Albion. She was married
to Reuben RANDOLPH, Aug 14, 1895. They resided at Utica
before coming to Milton Junction in 1900. More recently she had
lived in Edgerton until needing nursing care and was taken to
Janesville. She was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church.
- Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Roy
LEACH, Edgerton, and Mrs. Lyman
- RUSSELL,
Lake Mills, and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her husband, a daughter, Dorothy (Mrs. Kermit BEATTY),
and a son Earl.
- Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.
Friday in the Albrecht Funeral Home, the Rev.
- John F. Randolph officiating. Ivan
FitzRandolph gave the song service. Burial was in Milton Junction
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jess BABCOCK, Leland SHAW,
Floyd VINCENT and Wesley LOOFBORO. [Thursday
