Mrs. Herbert LIPPINCOTT [nee May Edna SUMMERBELL], 72, lifelong
Milton area resident, died Tuesday morning at Edgerton Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from The Albrecht Funeral Home.
Rev Elmo Randolph, pastor of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church was to officiate and burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville.
Mrs. LIPPINCOTT was born in Milton Junction April 10, 1887, the daughter of
Franklin and Olive J. SUMMERBELL. She resided in Milton Junction and Milton all her life.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert LIPPINCOTT, Milton, and a daughter, Mrs.
William BARDEEN, Rockford, Ill. [Thursday edition, p. 7]
 
[Note: The birth date and age at time of death above appear to be incorrect. According to her death certificate, her birth date was April 10, 1878, making her 81 at the time of her death. This is confirmed by the 1880 Federal Census.]

Jesse Herbert LIPPINCOTT, 87, Milton, died at Edgerton Memorial Hospital early
Saturday morning, less than five days after the death of his wife in the same hospital. His death was preceded by a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Milton Seventh Day Baptist
Church with Rev. Elmo F. Randolph officiating. The song service was given by Herbert CROUCH, W. D. BURDICK, Kenneth BABCOCK, and Robert BURDICK, Jr. Burial was in Milton Lawns Memorial Park with Ivan RICE, Carl SUNBY, Jess STEWART, A. F. BLOMGREN, Stanley FOX and Howard DRAKE as pallbearers.
Mr. LIPPINCOTT, the son of Curtis and Elizabeth BABCOCK LIPPINCOTT,
was born Jan. 24, 1873, Near Maplewood, Ohio, where he spent his early life. Later he moved to Garwin, Iowa, where he farmed until 1916 when the family moved to Milton. He was maintenance supervisor at the Burdick Corp. until his retirement.
He was a member of the Carlton Seventh Day Baptist Church of Garwin, Iowa,
transferring his membership to the Milton Church when he moved to Wisconsin.
He is survived by one son Truman G., of Milton; two grandchildren, Mrs. DeEtta
KASTORFF, Whitewater, and Wayne C. LIPPINCOTT, Milton Junction; one great grandchild and one brother Simeon LIPPINCOTT, Maplewood, Ohio. [Thursday edition, p. 5]
