Funeral services were held here Monday for Mrs. Floyd VINCENT, 73, Milton,
lifelong area resident who died Friday morning at Edgerton Community Hospital following a brief illness.
Rev. John Randolph officiated at the services held Monday afternoon from the Milton
Junction Seventh Day Baptist Church. Burial was in the Milton Cemetery.
The former Mignon[ette C.] WHITFORD was born Jan. 4, 1887, at Albion, the
daughter of Algernon and Bernette WOOLWORTH WHITFORD. She was married to Floyd VINCENT Nov. 29, 1905. They lived on a farm on Rock River Road until 1948 when they moved to Milton.
The VINCENTs celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1955.
Mrs. VINCENT was a member of the Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist Church
for 50 years. She was also active in the Milton Grange, Royal Neighbors and Rock River Women's Club.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Paul KAASE, Milton, and Mrs.
Harold BAKER, Lansing, Mich.; three grandsons; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Edna THOMAS, Milton; two brothers, Elmer WHITFORD, Lincoln, Calif., and Beryl WHITFORD, Berrien Springs, Mich. Five brothers preceded her in death. [Thursday, p. 1]
