Irving O[sborne] (Casey) SEVERANCE, 64, of R. 4, Edgerton, and a resident of
Milton for many years. died unexpectedly Thursday, June 9. Local office manager for the Arco Auto Carriers, Inc., of Edgerton for the past 20 years, he suffered a fatal heart attack while at work in his office.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 13, in the Milton Seventh Day
Baptist Church, the Rev. Carroll L. Hill of Waukesha officiating. Burial was in Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville, with graveside services being conducted by the I.O.O.F. Lodge 14, Janesville.
Pallbearers were John SEVERANCE, Gerald SEVERANCE, Robert
SEVERANCE, Evan SCHWARTZ, Robert JOHNSON and Mike WARD.
Born April 19, 1902, in Dodge Center, Minn., he was the son of Burton and Ann
OSBORNE SEVERANCE. He was married to Jessie LUFKIN in Dodge Center, Minn. He was a member of the Dodge Center Seventh Day Baptist Church, and a past noble grand of the Milton I.O.O.F. Lodge.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Dalon of Elgin, Ill., and Dewey of Milton Junction; a
daughter, Mrs. Bob (Donna) CUNNINGHAM of Globe, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Stanley FOX of Milton, and a brother, Howard, of White Bear Lake, Minn. [Thursday edition, p. 5]
