- Mrs. Harvey BURDICK, 89, Milton,
died unexpectedly Sunday, April 21, in the
- home of her son, Dr. H. Laurence BURDICK.
Mrs. BURDICK had resided with her son and family since
being released from the hospital in January after suffering a
broken hip.
- Funeral services were to be held today,
Thursday, April 25, at 2 p.m., in the Milton
- Seventh Day Baptist Church, the Rev.
Earl Cruzan officiating. Burial was to be in Milton Cemetery.
- Pallbearers will be Russell W. BURDICK,
Leland SHAW, Truman LIPPINCOTT,
- Elton BINGHAM, Paul ABELMANN
and William BURDICK.
- The former Beula A[gnes] BURDICK,
daughter of Edgar O. and Emily
- SHERBURNE
BURDICK, was born in Walworth May 23, 1878. She was
married Dec. 3, 1900 to Harvey L. BURDICK, a teacher for
many years in Wisconsin and Iowa schools, and was associated
with The Burdick Corporation until his death on Feb. 17, 1945.
- Mrs. BURDICK was a lifelong
member of the Seventh Day Baptist denomination
- and a member of the Milton Church at
the time of her death. She was for many years an active member
of the Women's Circle of the church and a member of the Woman's
Village Improvement Club.
- Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. LeRoy
(Dorothy) RASMUSSEN, Milton; three
- sons, George E., Cohoes, N.Y., Ralph
W., Edgerton, and Dr. H. Laurence BURDICK of Milton; nine
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Flora
JOHNSON, Milton.
- Preceding her also in death was a sister,
Mrs. Bert BUTTON, who died in 1947.
