Mrs. Harvey BURDICK, 89, Milton, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 21, in the
home of her son, Dr. H. Laurence BURDICK. Mrs. BURDICK had resided with her son and family since being released from the hospital in January after suffering a broken hip.
Funeral services were to be held today, Thursday, April 25, at 2 p.m., in the Milton
Seventh Day Baptist Church, the Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating. Burial was to be in Milton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Russell W. BURDICK, Leland SHAW, Truman LIPPINCOTT,
Elton BINGHAM, Paul ABELMANN and William BURDICK.
The former Beula A[gnes] BURDICK, daughter of Edgar O. and Emily
SHERBURNE BURDICK, was born in Walworth May 23, 1878. She was married Dec. 3, 1900 to Harvey L. BURDICK, a teacher for many years in Wisconsin and Iowa schools, and was associated with The Burdick Corporation until his death on Feb. 17, 1945.
Mrs. BURDICK was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Baptist denomination
and a member of the Milton Church at the time of her death. She was for many years an active member of the Women's Circle of the church and a member of the Woman's Village Improvement Club.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. LeRoy (Dorothy) RASMUSSEN, Milton; three
sons, George E., Cohoes, N.Y., Ralph W., Edgerton, and Dr. H. Laurence BURDICK of Milton; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Flora JOHNSON, Milton.
Preceding her also in death was a sister, Mrs. Bert BUTTON, who died in 1947.
