Mrs. Walter HUDSON, 69, of 417 Rogers St., Milton, died unexpectedly Sunday,
Aug. 29 in Mercy Hospital, Janesville, where she had been a patient for the past three weeks.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1 from the Milton Seventh
Day Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating. Burial was in Milton Cemetery with George SHELLESTAD, Robert KORDATZKY, Gary BLOMGREN, Dr. Forrest BRANCH, Walter SAYRE and Carl SUNBY as pallbearers.
The former Mildred [Kathleen] CRANDALL was born March 12, 1902 in Farina,
Ill., the daughter of Harry B. and Mary F. CARLISLE CRANDALL. She was married to Walter HUDSON on June 28, 1919. At the time of her death she was vice-president of the Bank of Milton, of which she had been a director since 1955.
For many years she was active in the Milton WVI Club and was a longtime member
of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church and its Women's Circle.
Surviving besides her husband are a son, and two granddaughters, Anne and Jane, of
Evanston, Illinois.
Preceding her in death was a daughter, Kathleen. [Thursday edition, p. 1]
