- Mrs. Walter HUDSON, 69, of 417
Rogers St., Milton, died unexpectedly Sunday,
- Aug. 29 in Mercy Hospital, Janesville,
where she had been a patient for the past three weeks.
- Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 1 from the Milton Seventh
- Day Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Cruzan
officiating. Burial was in Milton Cemetery with George SHELLESTAD,
Robert KORDATZKY, Gary BLOMGREN, Dr. Forrest BRANCH,
Walter SAYRE and Carl SUNBY as pallbearers.
- The former Mildred [Kathleen] CRANDALL
was born March 12, 1902 in Farina,
- Ill., the daughter of Harry B. and
Mary F. CARLISLE CRANDALL. She was married to Walter
HUDSON on June 28, 1919. At the time of her death she
was vice-president of the Bank of Milton, of which she had been
a director since 1955.
- For many years she was active in the
Milton WVI Club and was a longtime member
- of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church
and its Women's Circle.
- Surviving besides her husband are a
son, and two granddaughters, Anne and Jane, of
- Evanston, Illinois.
- Preceding her in death was a daughter,
