- Albert F[enton] BLOMGREN, 71,
of 408 Rogers Street, Milton, died Saturday,
- May 27, at Edgerton Memorial Community
Hospital after an illness of several years.
- Funeral services were held Wednesday,
May 31, from the Milton Seventh Day Baptist
- Church with Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating.
Burial was in the Milton Cemetery with Arthur W. ANDERSON,
Carl SUNBY, Russell J. MAXSON, Elmer E. ANDERSON,
Arthur DRAKE and Robert MATHIE as pallbearers.
Albrecht's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
- He was born in Chicago, Illinois July
3, 1900, the son of Frank A. and Emma
- RYDEN
BLOMGREN. He was employed by Western Electric in Chicago
until 1922 when he joined the Burdick Corporation in Milton where
he served in areas of management until he retired in 1969.
- Mr. BLOMGREN was prominent in
business and community life, having served for
- many years on the Milton Village Board,
was a past director of the Milton Savings and Loan Association,
was active in the Boy Scouts, YMCA, and the Dulac Lodge. He
was a member of the First Baptist Church of Austin, Illinois.
- He was married to the former Marjorie
ROBINSON on June 12, 1929 in Janesville,
- Wisconsin. He is survived by his
wife; one daughter, Carol V. of Laguna Beach, California, two
sons, Ronald A. of Fort Atkinson, and Gary A. of Lake Geneva;
seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mabel PATTERSON of
Elmhurst, Illinois; and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded
in death by two brothers, Roy A. and Arthur C. BLOMGREN.
