Funeral servives for Mrs. D. N. INGLIS, 93, wife of a retired Milton College
professor, were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 in the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church, Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating. Burial was in Milton cemetery with nephews Lloyd BRENEMAN, Glen BRENEMAN and William OPAT, all of Pardeeville, and Leland SHAW of Milton as pallbearers.
Mrs. INGLIS died Sunday in her home after a long illness.
The former Tacy [Fanny] ROOD was born Jan. 20, 1880 in North Loup, Nebraska
and came to Milton in 1902 to attend Milton Academy. She was married to Prof. INGLIS on Aug. 9, 1905. They lived in Marquette and Madison where Mr. INGLIS taught before coming to Milton in 1910 when he became associated with Milton College.
Prof. and Mrs. INGLIS were honored in 1969 as being two of the oldest members
of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church. She was also long active in the Milton Women's Improvement Club.
She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Mrs. William J. SMITH, Edgerton;
two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
