- Clifford B[rown] "Whity"
WERFAL, 60, of Rt. 1, Milton, long-time area farmer,
- died Tuesday, June 10, in Mercy Hospital
following a short illness.
- He was born Sept. 18, 1914, the son
of Lewis and Sarah MAWHINNEY
- WERFAL,
in Lima Township. He was married to Eleanor MAWHINNEY
at the First Congregational Church, Milton, on May 27, 1950,
and was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 161 and the First Congregational
Church.
- The long-time area farmer worked at
Milton College for five years prior to his death.
- He was preceded in death by his parents,
and two brothers, John and Frank.
- Surviving are his wife; two daughters,
Barbara and Dorothy; three sons, Robert, Frank
- and William; and one brother, Muril.
- Funeral services will be held at 2
p.m., today, Thursday, June 12, at the church with
- Rev. James Mohr officiating. Burial
will be in Milton Cemetery. Masonic services were held at 8
p.m., last night, Wednesday. [Thursday edition, p.
