Mrs. Lillian A. PIERCE, 77, former Milton resident, died Monday, July 7, at Rock
Haven, Janesville, where she had resided for the past year.
Funeral services were to be held today, Thursday, July 10, at 1:30 p.m. from Faith
United Methodist Church, with Rev. Richard Jones, United Methodist Church of Plattsville, officiating. Burial will be in Fassett Cemetery, Edgerton.
The former Lillian COOPER, was born July 23, 1897, at Albion Prairie and was
married to Mr. [Gailen A.] PIERCE June 12, 1918, at Newville. They farmed for many years in the Newville and Lake Koshkonong area prior to Mr. PIERCE's death in 1951.
Mrs. PIERCE had been an elementary school teacher, housemother at Leota School,
Evansville, and a nursing aide at Pinehurst Sanitorium.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and Faith Circle, and while in
the Edgerton area a member and Sunday school teacher there of the Methodist Church. She was also a member of Milton Senior Citizens.
Surviving are two sons, Gailen A. [Jr.], Rt. 1, Milton, and Lowell, Lexington, Ky.; 10
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Maurice COOPER, and a sister, Mrs. Edith SHERMAN, both of Newville. [Thursday edition, p. 8]

Funeral services for Mrs. Ray O. DUNWELL, 89, of 117 S. 2nd Street, Evansville,
were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19 from Albrecht Funeral Home, with Rev. Earl Cruzan, pastor of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
Mrs. DUNWELL, who had made her home in Evansville for the past 13 years, died
Thursday, July 17.
The former Belva J. McWILLIAM was born July 23, 1885, in Grand Junction, Iowa,
and moved to Milton about 1900, residing there until 1920 when she moved to Boy River, Minn. She was married to Ray O. DUNWELL Dec. 16, 1912, in Rockford, Ill. He died May 1965.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Arthur EMERSON, Hamel, Minn., and two sisters,
Mrs. Clara BREITKREUTZ, Evansville, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Bertha TIFFT, Lakewood, N.J.; two granddaughters and a great-grandson. [Thursday edition, p. 8]

Mrs. Margaret [A.] MANSUR, 79, of 729 Hudson Addition, died of an apparent
heart attack in her home Wednesday, July 23, 1975.
The former Margaret JONES was born Oct. 24, 1895, at Emerald Grove, and was
married to John R. MANSUR in 1915. He died in 1952.
Mrs. MANSUR was a lifelong area resident and a member of Emerald Grove
Congregational Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Theodore RYE, Clinton; three grandsons and two
great-granddaughters.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 26 in Emerald Grove Church, with Rev.
David Pease officiating. Burial was in Emerald Grove Cemetery with Gerald DePORTER, Eldyn FIELD, Charles BROEGE, Henry TEUBERT, Lloyd JONES and David DEAN as pallbearers.
Albrecht Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. [Thursday edition, p. 4]
