- Funeral services for Orel B[urlson]
VAN HORN, 67, of 226 Plumb St., who died
- Monday, Sept. 8, at his home of an
apparent heart failure will be held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday,
Sept. 11, at Albrecht Funeral Home with Rev. William Riggs officiating.
Burial will be in Milton Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
- Mr. VAN HORN was born Nov. 28,
1907 in Welton, Ia., the son of Leonard and
- Clara VAN HORN. He was employed
by General Motors from 1932-1952 and by the Burdick Corporation
until his retirement three years ago. He was a WWII veteran
and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
- He married the former Frances SIZER
Dec. 31, 1932 in Belvidere, Ill.
- Survivors include his wife; one son,
Ray, of Ogallala, Neb.; two daughters, Mrs. Sally
- ROOD,
Avalon, and Mrs. Jeanie DECKER, Milton; four grandchildren;
one sister, Mrs. Reva MALTAS, Edgerton,; and two brothers,
Loyal, Kent, Wash., and Ken, Pearl City, Ill. [Thursday
