Mrs. Leroy B. RASMUSSEN, 72, of 1714-15th St., Monroe, former Milton
resident who had made her home for the past five years with a son, died Wednesday, July 14 in Monroe after a brief illness.
The former Dorothy [Mae] BURDICK, daughter of Harvey and Beula BURDICK,
was born Aug. 28, 1903, at Albion, and had lived most of her life in Milton where she attended Milton College.
She was married in Milton Nov. 10, 1928, to Mr. RASMUSSEN. He died in 1966.
Mrs. RASMUSSEN had been employed as a legal secretary for Janesville attorneys
for many years, and was a member of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Leroy R., Monroe, and George E., Bellevue, Neb.; six
grandchildren; three brothers, Dr. H. Laurence BURDICK, Milton, Ralph BURDICK, Edgerton, and George BURDICK, Berlin, N.Y.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 16 from the Seventh Day Baptist Church
with Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating. Burial was in the Milton Cemetery with Robert BURDICK, Jack ROBERTS, J. Paul GREEN and Bud HARRIS as pallbearers.
Albrecht Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. [Thursday edition, p. 5]
