- Mrs. Leroy B. RASMUSSEN, 72,
of 1714-15th St., Monroe, former Milton
- resident who had made her home for
the past five years with a son, died Wednesday, July 14 in Monroe
after a brief illness.
- The former Dorothy [Mae] BURDICK,
daughter of Harvey and Beula BURDICK,
- was born Aug. 28, 1903, at Albion,
and had lived most of her life in Milton where she attended Milton
College.
- She was married in Milton Nov. 10,
1928, to Mr. RASMUSSEN. He died in 1966.
- Mrs. RASMUSSEN had been employed
as a legal secretary for Janesville attorneys
- for many years, and was a member of
the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church.
- Surviving are two sons, Leroy R., Monroe,
and George E., Bellevue, Neb.; six
- grandchildren; three brothers, Dr.
H. Laurence BURDICK, Milton, Ralph BURDICK, Edgerton,
and George BURDICK, Berlin, N.Y.
- Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday,
July 16 from the Seventh Day Baptist Church
- with Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating.
Burial was in the Milton Cemetery with Robert BURDICK,
Jack ROBERTS, J. Paul GREEN and Bud HARRIS
as pallbearers.
- Albrecht Funeral Home was in charge
