- Dr. Hartley H[arrad] T[hompson] JACKSON
died Sunday, Sept. 19, in Durham,
- North Carolina.
- He was born May 19, 1881 in Milton,
attending schools in Milton and receiving
- degrees from Milton College, University
of Wisconsin and George Washington University. He was employed
with the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service, as an expert in mammology.
Dr. JACKSON authored and co-authored many books on wildlife,
the most recent entitled "Mammals of Wisconsin."
- He married Anna M. ADAMS, who
died in 1968, and later married Stephanie
- DALAND HALL.
- Surviving are his wife, Stephanie;
nieces and nephews.
- Graveside services will be held at
11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 in Milton Cemetery with
- Walter Holliday officiating.
