- Donald [F.] BARKER, 69, of 28
S. John Paul Rd., died unexpectedly Wednesday,
- July 5, at Memorial Community Hospital,
Edgerton, after an apparent heart attack. He had been admitted
Monday.
- He was born Dec. 26, 1908, in Johnstown
Township, Rock County, the son of Frank
- E. and Nellie NEWELL BARKER.
He married the former Florence FREEBORN March 20, 1937.
- Mr. BARKER had been employed
in the maintenance department of Burdick Corp.,
- Milton, until retiring in 1973.
- Surviving are his wife; a son, Robert,
at home; a daughter, Mrs. Spencer (Sandra)
- LUKAS,
Milton; two grandchildren; three brothers, Eldon, Laveen, Ariz.,
Rolland of Rockford, and Carroll of Lake Mills; and a sister,
Mrs. Dorothy MEALEY, Prescott, Ariz.
- He was preceded in death by two sisters
and one brother.
- Services were held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday,
at Albrecht Funeral Home with burial in
- Milton Junction Cemetery. Rev. Virgil
Holmes of Faith United Methodist Church, Milton, officiated.
- Pallbearers were Donald CHESMORE,
James WILCOX, Hartley SUMMERS,
- Orville OLSON, Clarence VIERCK
and Richard PALMER. A memorial fund has been established.
