- Funeral services were held Tuesday,
Feb. 27, at Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church
- for Mrs. Ralph H. COON, 81,
of 340 E. Madison Ave., who died Feb. 24 at Mercy Hospital following
a short illness.
- Burial was held at Lost Creek Cemetery,
Salem, W. Virginia, Wednesday. Memorials
- may be made to the Light Bearers.
- The former Madge MUNCY was born
June 11, 1897, at Nortonville, Kansas, the
- daughter of Frank and Dora MacBLAIR
MUNCY. She married Mr. COON May 19, 1918, at Berkeley,
Calif. He died in October, 1961.
- Mrs. COON moved to Milton from
Salem, W. Virginia, in 1962. She was a member
- of the Boulder, Colo. Seventh Day Baptist
Church.
- Survivors include one son, Lloyd, Succasunna,
N.J.; four daughters, Mrs. Edward

Milton, Mrs. David WILLIAMS, Naperville, Ill., Mrs. Mynor
SOPER, Texarkana, Ark., and Mrs. Ronald KRUM, Hendersonville,
N.C.; four brothers, Earl, Sacramento, Calif., Claire, Washington,
D.C., Donald, Santa Rosa, Calif., and Frank, Pebble Beach, Calif.;
three sisters, Mrs. Lester OSBORNE, Oneida, N.Y., Mrs.
Fred MARTIN, Walnut Creek, Calif., and Mrs. Wilton LOCKWOOD,
College Place, Wash.; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

- Mrs. Grace EVANS, a long-time
Milton area resident, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, at
- Mercy Hospital following a short illness.
- Born in Milton, Grace Alice CRANDALL
married Joseph F. EVANS on Oct. 14,
- 1920 in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. He
preceded her in death.
- Mrs. EVANS, a former schoolteacher,
belonged to Cargill United Methodist Church,
- Janesville. She is survived by two
sisters, Mrs. Bessie RICE and Mrs. Lois RICE, both
of Milton.
- Private services were held Friday at
Albrecht Funeral Home, with burial in Milton
