A[ndrew] Henry OCHS, 95, formerly of Milton, died Saturday morning in Eau Claire
where he had resided the past 10 years.
Born Oct. 7, 1883 in Omaha, Neb., he married Ida Mae LIPPINCOTT on Jan. 17,
1910, in Jackson Center, Ohio. She preceded him in death. OCHS owned and operated a grocery store in Milton from 1931 to 1946 and a men's clothing store from 1947 until retirement in 1964.
A member of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church, OCHS served on its board of
trustees for many years. He also participated in the Milton Civic Business Organization.
Surviving are two sons, Theron H., of Eau Claire, and Kenneth B., of Milton; four
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Catherine FRIEDMAN, of San Francisco.
Services were held Tuesday at the Seventh Day Baptist Church with burial in Milton
Cemetery. Albrecht Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. [Thursday edition, p. 8]
