- A[ndrew] Henry OCHS, 95, formerly
of Milton, died Saturday morning in Eau Claire
- where he had resided the past 10 years.
- Born Oct. 7, 1883 in Omaha, Neb., he
married Ida Mae LIPPINCOTT on Jan. 17,
- 1910, in Jackson Center, Ohio. She
preceded him in death. OCHS owned and operated a grocery
store in Milton from 1931 to 1946 and a men's clothing store
from 1947 until retirement in 1964.
- A member of the Milton Seventh Day
Baptist Church, OCHS served on its board of
- trustees for many years. He also
participated in the Milton Civic Business Organization.
- Surviving are two sons, Theron H.,
of Eau Claire, and Kenneth B., of Milton; four
- grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren;
and a sister, Mrs. Catherine FRIEDMAN, of San Francisco.
- Services were held Tuesday at the Seventh
Day Baptist Church with burial in Milton
- Cemetery. Albrecht Funeral Home was
in charge of arrangements. [Thursday edition, p. 8]
