George H[erman Julius] RUSCH, 61, of 1734 Greenwich Lane, Janesville, died
Monday, Nov. 12, after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home.
He was born Feb. 14, 1918 in Milton, the son of August and Elsie SCHANLIN
RUSCH and married the former Mary Arlene LOOFBORO Nov. 30, 1944 in Milton. She died in 1972.
He resided in Edgerton for 29 years before moving to Janesville two years ago. He
owned and operated the Edgerton Feed Mill for 15 years, retiring in 1969. He was then employed by the Nelson Lumber Co., Janesville. RUSCH was a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Janesville.
He was preceded in death by his wife; a daughter, Virginia in 1965 and a son, David
in 1951.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy of Stoughton, and Gordon of Janesville; a
daughter, Connie RUSCH of Janesville; and two sisters, Mrs. Martha JEWELL, Edgerton, and Mrs. Merton GRAY, Milton.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, at 1 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran
Church, Janesville with Rev. David Seivert officiating. Visitation was held Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Albrecht Funeral Home, 2215 Holiday Dr., Janesville. A memorial fund has been established. [Thursday edition, p. 16]
