Services for Mrs. Esther [Olive] VAN HORN, 89, of 418 Chicago, who died
Saturday, were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Seventh Day Baptist Church, with burial in Milton Lawns Memorial Park.
Born May 18, 1891, in Marion, Iowa, the former Esther CARVER married George
VAN HORN there on Feb. 12, 1913. He died on June 5, 1971. They moved to Milton from Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1970. She was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church and its Women's Circle, The Milton Woman's Club, the Milton Historical Society, the Senior Citizens Club, and was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge and a former 4-H leader.
Surviving are two sons, Elton of Milton and Stanley of Madison; a daughter, Mrs.
Charlotte HUCKSTEAD of Milton; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy CARVER of Cedar Rapids and Myrtle FORD of Marion.
Memorials may be made to the Seventh Day Baptist Church or the Milton Historical
