- Services for Mrs. Esther [Olive] VAN
HORN, 89, of 418 Chicago, who died
- Saturday, were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday
in the Seventh Day Baptist Church, with burial in Milton Lawns
Memorial Park.
- Born May 18, 1891, in Marion, Iowa,
the former Esther CARVER married George
- VAN HORN
there on Feb. 12, 1913. He died on June 5, 1971. They moved
to Milton from Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1970. She was a member
of the Seventh Day Baptist Church and its Women's Circle, The
Milton Woman's Club, the Milton Historical Society, the Senior
Citizens Club, and was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge and
a former 4-H leader.
- Surviving are two sons, Elton of Milton
and Stanley of Madison; a daughter, Mrs.
- Charlotte HUCKSTEAD of Milton;
14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy
CARVER of Cedar Rapids and Myrtle FORD of Marion.
- Memorials may be made to the Seventh
Day Baptist Church or the Milton Historical
