Mrs. Carl (Janet) LINDMARK, age 80, of 423 Vernal Ave. in Milton, died on
Wednesday, September 30, 1981, at Mercy Hospital, Janesville, following a heart attack on September 15, 1981.
Born on June 30, 1901, in the town of Lemanweir in Juneau County, she was the
daughter of Earl and Mary McMILLAN. She graduated from Mauston High School in 1917 and from LaCrosse Teachers College (UW-LaCrosse) in 1920. She also attended Milwaukee Teachers College (UW-Milwaukee). She was a high school history teacher in Prentice, Wild Rose, Pardeeville, Wis., and also in schools in Minnesota and Michigan. She was married to Carl LINDMARK on August 18, 1936. She had been a resident of Milton for 41 years. She was a member of Friendship Chapter No. 46 Order of Eastern Star, Fortnightly Club, United Community Scholarship Committee and Faith Circle of Faith United Methodist Church.
Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Warren R. (Mary) BAUER of Madison;
a sister, Mrs. Blanche A. WARNER of Mauston; and a granddaughter, Andrea BAUER of Madison. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles W. McMILLAN and a grandson, Thomas BAUER. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. at the Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton. Burial was in the Milton Junction Cemetery. [Thursday edition, p. 20]
