- Robert S[cott] WATERMAN, 73,
of 109 N. Clear Lake Ave., died Saturday in
- Mercy Hospital after suffering an apparent
heart attack at home.
- Born Oct. 27, 1908, in Harmony Township,
he married Phoebe HINMAN here in
- 1940. WATERMAN attended Madison
Business College and was employed by the Burdick Corp. for 40
years, retiring in 1973. He was a member of the Milton Congregational
Church.
- Surviving are his wife; and two sisters,
Mrs. Mildred GRAY of Milton and Mrs. Grace
- THUELER
of Janesville; nieces and nephews.
- Private services were held Monday in
Albrecht Funeral Home with burial in Milton
- Cemetery. Rev. Kenneth WATERMAN

- Mrs. Erma MABSON, 90, of 25
Division St., died Tuesday, Dec. 22, in Edgerton
- Memorial Hospital.
- The former Erma KEITH was born
Aug. 27, 1891 in Milton, the daughter of George
- B. and Della DENNETT KEITH.
She lived her entire life in the Milton community.
- She attended the Milton Junction grade
school, graduating in 1909, and attended
- Milton College for one year. She then
taught at the Junction school until her marriage to Sidney L.
MABSON on Mar. 26, 1913. He died in 1965.
- Mrs. MABSON and her husband
operated a grocery store in Milton for many years.
- She was a member of Faith United Methodist
Church, Friendship Chapter OES and Royal Neighbors of America.
- Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gevet
WEBER of Wayzata, Minn., and Mrs. Jack
- FISH,
of Milton; and four grandsons.
- Private family services were held Dec.
24 at 11 a.m. at Albrecht Funeral Home with
- Rev. Virgil Holmes officiating. Burial
was in the Milton Junction Cemetery. [Thursday edition, p.
