William R[ay] OSBORN, 81, died Saturday, Dec. 24, at Rock Haven, where he
had resided since 1972.
Born Nov. 27, 1902, in Pontiac, Ill., the son of Edward and Anna LEHE OSBORN,
he moved to Wisconsin in 1919. He married Elizabeth M. CLARK on Nov. 25, 1925. She died in 1938. He then married Belle M. INMAN Oct. 27, 1952.
Mr. OSBORN was employed for some time by A.O. Smith, Milwaukee, worked at
Fisher Body, Janesville, from 1927 until 1945, and served as auto mechanic at Chase Pontiac Sales from 1945 until 1958. He was also employed as an auto mechanic in the Milton area for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Belle M. INMAN OSBORN, Milton; three sons, Glenn
of Longwood, Fla., Theodore and Richard of Janesville; one step-daughter, Charlotte BURR of Whitewater; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Albrecht Funeral Home,
Milton, with burial at Milton Lawns Cemetery, Janesville. [Thursday edition, p. 15]

Mrs. Ruth R. SAUNDERS, 89, formerly of 1024 Sunset, Milton, died Dec. 21, in
St. Elizabeth Nursing Home, Janesville.
She was born in January [11], 1893, in Union Grove. Moving to Milton in 1909, she
married Jesse J. SAUNDERS in 1919. He died in 1978. Mrs. SAUNDERS was a member of the seventh Day Baptist Church and its Women's Circle.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton, with burial in
Milton Cemetery. [Thursday edition, p. 15]
