Kenneth W[ayne] TIFFANY, 58, a former Milton resident, died Tuesday, May 29,
in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born June 14, 1925, in Milton, the son of James H. and Gladys V. HOLLIDAY
TIFFANY, he married the former Madalen M. CORYELL Sept. 4, 1948, in Monroe. He graduated from Milton Union High School and Milton College and served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was employed as executive vice president in charge of marketing and sales at
Lenco, Inc., Jackson, Mo. He was a member of the American Legion Post at Perryville and the Immaculate Church, Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Madalen; three daughters, Laura BARKHURST of Mesa,
Ariz., Connie GRISWOLD and Diane TIFFANY, both of Jackson, Mo.; a son, John of Jackson; his mother, Mrs. James TIFFANY of Janesville; three brothers, Horace of Springfield, Mo., Clifford of Watertown and Howard of Brodhead; a sister, Viola CALDWELL of Willits, Calif.; and two foster brothers, Clarence of Edgerton and Gerry of Janesville.
Services were held in Jackson, Mo. May 31. [Thursday edition]

Robert L[angworthy] BURDICK, 80, of 527 Rogers, Milton, died Sunday Morning,
June 3, at Edgerton Memorial Hospital.
Born Sept. 30, 1903, in Milton, he married Margaret HUTCHINS on Sept. 25,
1927 in Rockford, Ill. He was an electrician with Wisconsin Power and Light for more than 50 years, retiring in 1969. He was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church, Milton, the Pioneer Club of Wisconsin Power and Light, and the Wednesday Golf League at Oakridge Country Club.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Robert of Boulder, Colo., Kay of Janesville and
Keith of Sanger, Texas; two daughters, Carolyn PAYNE of Youngstown, Ohio, and Eleanor SHEPPARD of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Roger of Milton and Clifford of Tuscon, Ariz.; 22 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday in the Seventh Day Baptist Church, with burial in
Milton Cemetery. Albrecht Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. [Thursday edition, p. 28]

Mrs. Lillian [Marie] TUCKER, 80, of 2204 E. Delavan, Janesville, died Wednesday,
June 13, in Mercy Hospital.
Born May 4, 1904, in Milton, the former Lillian GRAY married Harry TUCKER in
1961. She attended Milton schools, graduated from Rock County Normal school in 1922 and taught in rural schools in this area. She also graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, La., where she lived for 12 years.
She was a secretary for the Burdick Corp., Hough Mfg., Pinehurst Sanitarium, Mercy
Hospital and the city of Janesville. She was a member of the Janesville MacDowell Club, Milton Senior Citizens, Milton Grange and Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church and its women's circle.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, James CAMPBELL of Madison and Elnoe
[CAMPBELL] of Janesville; a daughter, Marjorie [CAMPBELL] GOODRICH of North Loup, Neb.; three step-sons, Richard TUCKER of Caledonia, Dean TUCKER of Whitewater and Wayne TUCKER of Janesville; 12 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald GRAY of Delaware; and a sister, Mrs. Leora HARTMAN of Milton.
Services were held Friday in the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church with burial in
Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville. Albrecht Funeral Home-Milton was in charge of arrangements. [Thursday edition, p. 8]
