- Leman J[errold] ROOD, 80, formerly
of 410 Blaine, Edgerton, died Wednesday,
- April 30 in Rock Haven, where he had
resided since January.
- Born June 18, 1905, in Milton, he married
Iris REMER in Milton on August 26,
- 1928. She died in 1978. He graduated
from Milton College and taught in the Mauston and Edgerton school
systems for many years. In Edgerton he was also a football coach
and junior high school principal. He was a member of the Towne
Country Club, Edgerton.
- Surviving are a daughter, Carol PALMER,
of Mystic, Conn.; two sons, Laurence of
- Los Angeles, Calif., and Gordon, of
Milwaukie, Ore.; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Nelsie ROOD,
of Milton.
- Services were Monday, May 5 in the
Bruni-Nygaard-Ward Funeral Home, Edgerton,
- with burial in Fassett Cemetery. Memorials
may be made to the Edgerton schools computer writing lab.

- Josephine Grace OCHS, 70, of
124 Homestead, Milton, died Tuesday, May 27, at
- Mercy Hospital from an apparent heart
attack.
- Born on July 1, 1915 in Baraboo, she
was the daughter of Frank and Gladys
- MEPHAM
FEAGANS [FEGANS]. She married Kenneth OCHS
on February 16, 1940 in Janesville.
- A long time Milton resident, she was
a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church in
- Milton and the Women's Circle.
- Surviving are her husband; a daughter,
Mrs. Donna VAN HORN, of West Des
- Moines, Iowa; a son, Ronald, of Milton;
and five grandchildren.
- Funeral services will be held on Thursday,
May 29 at 7 p.m. at the Seventh Day
- Baptist Church with Rev. Herbert Saunders
officiating. A private family burial will be held on May 30 at
the Milton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Seventh Day
Baptist Church. Albrecht Funeral Home - Milton is in charge of
