Lawrence L[ehman] LIPPINCOTT, 66, of 109 Wallace Way, Milton, died Sunday,
Sept. 28 at the University Hospital, Madison.
Born November 29, 1919 in Garwin, Iowa, he was the son of Ray and Belle
LIPPINCOTT. He married Alice SCHIEFELBEIN on August 8, 1947, in Milton.
A longtime Milton resident, he attended Milton College. He formerly owned and
operated Milton school buses and was later employed 21 years as an auto mechanic by Wells Motors, Janesville. He was a World War II Army veteran and attended the Seventh Day Baptist Church, Milton.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Loren, of Milton; one granddaughter; and a brother,
Walden, of Milton.
Services were Wednesday, Oct. 1 in the Seventh Day Baptist Church, Milton with
Rev. Herbert Saunders officiating and burial followed in Milton Cemetery. Albrecht Funeral Home-Milton was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Trauma Life Center, University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison. [Thursday edition, p. 24]
