Mrs. Doris V. CLARKE, 72, 223 Vernal, died Wednesday, March 4, at Mercy Hospital after a short illness. Born Feb. 14, 1915, in Delavan, the former Doris DAVIS married Alvin CLARKE on Sept. 15, 1932, in Woodstock, Ill. A longtime Milton area resident, she was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband; a son, Richard of Milton; four grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; two brothers. Lawrence of Edgerton and Robert DAVIS of Milton; and two sisters, Elaine SHAW of Milton and Mary HOVE of Edgerton. Services were held Saturday, March 7 in Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton with burial in Milton Junction Cemetery. [Thursday edition]   Courtesy of Jon Saunders
