- Harold W[itter] HULL, 80, of
R1 Evansville, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 1989.
- Mr. HULL was born July 14, 1909
in Milton. He was the son of Richard Loyal and
- Rena (GREENE) HULL. He
attended Milton High School and Milton College. During World
War II he served in the U.S. Navy. After he moved to Evansville,
he worked at Miller's Market and Patterson's Grocery, and in
1947, he founded HULL's Meat Processing Plant. Mr. HULL
was an avid sports enthusiast and held state track records. He
was also an originator and continuing supporter of the 4-H meat
animal sale at the Rock County Fair.
- Survivors include three sons, Malcolm
(Phyllis) of Evansville, Douglas (Mary Ellen) of
- Evansville, and Norman (Bobbie) of
Florida; three daughters, Loretta (Cal) STAHLEY of Arizona,
Diana (Don) WILLIAMS of Washington, and Maureen (Jim)
WILLIER of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Ronald (Barbara)
of Marion, and Kenneth (Velma) of Milton; one sister, Mildred
(James) HUGHES of Rockford; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grand-
children.
- He was preceded in death by his wife,
Clara; one son, Ronald; and one brother,
- Wayne.
- Funeral services will be Thursday,
Sept. 28 at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in
- Evansville. Pastor Jim Hill will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Evansville. Visitation
was to be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27 at Ward Funeral
