- Carl [Martin] SUNBY, age 86,
of 402 Rogers St., died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1991,
- at Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn.
- He was born July 23, 1905, in Milton,
the son of Louis and Marie (HANSEN)
- SUNBY.
He lived his entire life in this area. He was married to
Helen GRANZO on April 29, 1924; she died in 1984. He
was employed in the office at Burdick Corp. for 25 years, and
for 30 years he was owner of the General Case Co. He served
in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was chairman of the
board of the Milton Savings and Loan and attended First Methodist
Church, Milton.
- He is survived by one son, Carl (Gwen)
SUNBY of Green Bay; one daughter, Mary
- (Wayne) ASTIN of Green Bay;
one brother, Louis (Lucille) SUNBY of Milton; one sister-in-law,
Carolyn (Steiner) STONEDALL of Madison; seven grandchildren;
and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one
brother and four sisters.
- Funeral services were held Saturday,
Oct. 19, at First Methodist Church, Milton.
- Rev. Wesley White officiated. Burial
was in Milton Cemetery. A memorial has been established in
