- Wesley W[ade] LOOFBORO, 96,
died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1993, at Memorial
- Community Hospital, Edgerton.
- He was born Dec. 24, 1896 in Welton,
Iowa, the son of Wade and Sebea (COON)
- LOOFBORO.
He was a farmer in this area for many years. In 1916 he married
Esther HURLEY; she died in 1949. He then married Clara
LOOFBORO in 1950. He was a member of the Albion Seventh
Day Baptist Church and a Grange member for over 50 years.
- He is survived by his wife, Clara of
Milton; two sons, Victor (Gwen) of Milwaukee
- and Carroll (Dortha) of Milton; 17
grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Howard
(Ida) LOOFBORO of Milton. He was preceded in death by
a son, Wayland; a daughter, Arlene; and one sister.
- Funeral services were held Wednesday,
Feb. 10 at the Albrecht Funeral Home.
- Rev. Paul Osborn officiated. Burial
was in Milton Junction Cemetery. [Thursday edition, p. 2]
