Janesville - Alice HOLIDAY [HOLLIDAY] BOEHM, age 92, of 1104 Harmony
Circle NW, passed away Wed., Sept. 15, 1993, at Rock Haven. She was born Oct. 30, 1900, in Milton, WI, the daughter of John Michael and Thea (NELSON) PFEIFFER. She grew up in the Milton area and graduated from Milton High School. In 1919 she married Howard HOLIDAY [HOLLIDAY]. They farmed in the Milton and Fulton areas, and moved to Riverside, CA, in 1933. Howard died in 1939. The family returned to Wisconsin, except for a daughter, Geraldine, who married and remained in California. In 1942 Alice married Harold BOEHM; he died in 1963. Alice had made her home with her son, Rolland, and his wife, Elaine, since 1970. She was a member of the Cargill United Methodist Church, Janesville.
She is survived by her son Rolland, "Bud" (Elaine) of Janesville; 3 daughters:
Geraldine (Terry) THORNTON of Victorville, CA, Gwendolyn (Carl) SUNBY of Green Bay, and Patricia (Richard) ARNOLD of Milton; 2 stepsons, Richard (Carol) BOEHM and Clifford (Orpha) BOEHM, both of Loveland, CO; 11 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and 3 brothers.
Alice was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be sadly
missed by all those whose hearts she has touched.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sat., Sept. 18, at Cargill United Methodist
Church, with Rev. Roy Deming officiating. Friends may call Friday evening at Albrecht Funeral Home from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be in Milton East Cemetery, Milton. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial has been established in her name. [Friday edition]
