- Pansy S. GREEN, 87, of Milton,
died Monday Oct. 21, 1996, at Cedar Crest in
- Janesville.
- She was born Dec. 17, 1908, the daughter
of Elias and Gertrude (BABCOCK)
- SCOUTEN,
in Fouke, Ark. She married Ralph H. GREEN on Oct. 15,
1932, in the Seventh Day Baptist Church in Farina, Ill. They
farmed in that area until they moved to Rural Milton in 1948
to raise purebred Holstein cattle. Pansy was a member of the
Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church, serving as treasurer of the
Women's Society for several years. She also had been active
in the Milton 4-H club.
- Survivors include two sons, Edwin (Jean)
GREEN, Dale (Barbara) GREEN; a
- daughter-in-law, Dortha (widow of Leland)
LOOFBORO; 10 grandchildren; Norman (Elizabeth) GREEN,
Gordon GREEN, Andrew GREEN, Ilean GREEN,
Ellen (Matthew) OLSON, Howard GREEN, Mark (Faith)
GREEN, Janet GREEN, Lois (Douglas) BAILEY,
David (Debbi) GREEN and 12 great-grandchildren.
- She was preceded in death by her husband,
Ralph, a son Leland S. GREEN, and
- four sisters.
- Funeral services will be held at 11
a.m., Friday, Oct. 25, in the Milton Seventh Day
- Baptist Church. Rev. George Calhoun
will officiate. Interment will be at the Milton Junction Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24,
at the Albrecht Funeral Home. [Thursday edition, p. 4]
