- Ray Alfred LAWTON, 81, of Aberdeen,
N.C., died Sunday, Jan. 19, 1997, at
- Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst,
N.C.
- Survivors include his wife, Joan C.
LAWTON; a son, Terry LAWTON of Onalaska,
- Wis.; a daughter, Deane SCHRADER
of Sparta, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Marjory NELSON of Milton;
seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
- A memorial service will be held today,
Thursday, Jan. 23, 1997, at the Southern Pines
- United Methodist Church. Rev. Ed.
Morrison and Rev. Peg. Witt are officiating. Powell Funeral
Home of Southern Pines, N. C., was in charge of arrangements.
