Nellie Mae FREEBORN, 81, of Milton, died Wednesday, May 7, 1997, at
Memorial Community Hospital, Edgerton.
She was born Nov. 23, 1915, in Milton, the daughter of Clayton and Jessie
(LAWTON) FREEBORN. She lived her entire life in the Milton area and worked at Burdick Corp. until retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist Church and Royal Neighbors of America.
She is survived by a sister, Florence BARKER; a nephew, Robert BARKER; a
niece, Sandra LUKAS, all of Milton; two great-nephews; two great-great-nephews; and a great-great-niece; cousins and many friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 12, at Albrecht Funeral Home. Rev. Kevin
Butler officiated. Burial was in the Milton Junction Cemetery. Albrecht Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. [Thursday edition, p. 4]

Jessie L. SEVERANCE [nee Jessie Wiltse LUFKIN), 96, former Milton resident,
died Saturday, May 10, 1997, at Mi Casa, Mesa Co., Ariz. She had lived in Arizona since 1972.
She is survived by a son, Dalon (Marcella) SEVERANCE; a daughter, Donna Lee
(Bob) CUNNINGHAM, Globe, Ariz.; a daughter-in-law Marjorie SEVERANCE, Milton; eight grandchildren. 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law Howard (Mildred) SEVERANCE; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irving O. SEVERANCE and a son, Duard SEVERANCE.
Services will be held today, Thursday, May 15, 1997, at St. Paul's United Methodist
Church, 141 Hill St., Globe, Ariz. A memorial service will be held at Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville, at a later date. [Thursday edition, p. 4]
