- Nellie Mae FREEBORN, 81, of
Milton, died Wednesday, May 7, 1997, at
- Memorial Community Hospital, Edgerton.
- She was born Nov. 23, 1915, in Milton,
the daughter of Clayton and Jessie
- (LAWTON) FREEBORN.
She lived her entire life in the Milton area and worked at Burdick
Corp. until retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Milton
Junction Seventh Day Baptist Church and Royal Neighbors of America.
- She is survived by a sister, Florence
BARKER; a nephew, Robert BARKER; a
- niece, Sandra LUKAS, all of
Milton; two great-nephews; two great-great-nephews; and a great-great-niece;
cousins and many friends.
- Funeral services were held Monday,
May 12, at Albrecht Funeral Home. Rev. Kevin
- Butler officiated. Burial was in
the Milton Junction Cemetery. Albrecht Funeral Home was in

- Jessie L. SEVERANCE [nee Jessie
Wiltse LUFKIN), 96, former Milton resident,
- died Saturday, May 10, 1997, at Mi
Casa, Mesa Co., Ariz. She had lived in Arizona since 1972.
- She is survived by a son, Dalon (Marcella)
SEVERANCE; a daughter, Donna Lee
- (Bob) CUNNINGHAM, Globe, Ariz.;
a daughter-in-law Marjorie SEVERANCE, Milton; eight grandchildren.
16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law
Howard (Mildred) SEVERANCE; nieces and nephews. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Irving O. SEVERANCE
and a son, Duard SEVERANCE.
- Services will be held today, Thursday,
May 15, 1997, at St. Paul's United Methodist
- Church, 141 Hill St., Globe, Ariz.
A memorial service will be held at Milton Lawns Memorial Park,
Janesville, at a later date. [Thursday edition, p. 4]
