- Frances VanHORN, 88, of Milton,
died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997, at Meadow
- Park Health Care Center, Clinton.
- She was born Feb. 18, 1909, in Sterling,
Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Elva KNOX
- SIZER.
She lived most of her life in the Milton area. She married
O. B. VanHORN in 1932. She was a member of Milton Methodist
Church and Royal Neighbors.
- She is survived by a son, Roy VanHORN
of Janesville; two daughters: Sally (Harlan)
- ROOK
of Johnstown and Jeanine (Bob) DECKER of Milton; seven
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert
SIZER of Nebraska.
- She was preceded in death by her husband
in 1975 and one sister.
- Funeral services were held on Saturday,
Nov. 29, 1997, at Albrecht Funeral Home,
- Milton. Rev. Stu Allen officiated.
Burial was in Milton Cemetery. [Thursday edition, p. 4]
