- Miriam [Emma] DAVIS GREEN, 92,
of Ormond Beach, Fla., died Saturday, Nov.
- 21, 1998, at the Memorial Hospital
at Ormond Beach.
- Miriam "Mim" was born April
27, 1906, in Farina, Ill., the daughter of the late Ted
- and Lena WHITFORD DAVIS. Her
family moved to Milton where she received her education. She
married Homer GREEN on Oct. 11, 1924, in Milton and resided
here until moving to Florida in 1962. She had a ceramic shop
in Milton and specialized in original personalized coffee mugs
for local business people. She was a member of the Seventh
Day Baptist Church.
- She is survived by her daughter, Enid
NOBLES or Ormond Beach, Fla.; a son, John
- "Jack" of Twin Lakes; 10
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer; a son, Theodore
"Ted"; five sisters: Dorothy GROUT, Ester YOUNG,
Beth DAVIS, Phyllis HUTTER, Betty Jo O'BRIEN;
and a brother, Rod.
- Funeral services will be held Friday,
Nov. 27, 1998, at the Seventh Day Baptist
- Church. Burial will be in the Milton
Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service
at the church on Friday. Albrecht Funeral Home is handling
