Marjorie E[lizabeth] BLOMGREN, 94, of 408 Rogers St., died Wednesday, Nov.
28, 2001, at her home.
She was born Dec. 11, 1906 in Otter Creek, the daughter of Harry and Florence
BURDICK ROBINSON. She lived her entire live in the Otter Creek-Milton area. She graduated from Milton Union High School in 1925 and was then employed by the Burdick Corporation. She married Albert F. BLOMGREN June 12, 1929, he died in May of 1972. She was a member of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church, the Milton Woman's Club, a charter member of the Milton Historical Society and a past member of the Prairie du Lac Questers. She was previously active in volunteer services.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol BLOMGREN of Milton and Santa Fe, NM;
her son, Gary of Milwaukee; six grandchildren: Gregory (Sandy) BLOMGREN of Lower Burrell, Penn., Susan (Michael) MULLEN of Pittsburg, Penn., Beth (Paul) ANDRISCIN of Springdale, Penn., Christy BLOMGREN of Fort Atkinson, Arthur BLOMGREN and Shana (Eli) GUSTAFSON, both of Albuquerque, NM; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; and her son Ronald.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001 at the Milton Seventh Day Baptist
Church, Pastor George Calhoun officiated. Burial was in Milton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church, HospiceCare, Inc., 3001 W. Memorial Drive, Janesville, or Make A Wish Foundation, 13195 W. Hampton Ave., Butler, WI 53007. Albrecht Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. [Thursday edition, p. 4]
