- Russell Arlington TYLER, 89,
of 2218 Eucalyptus Ave., Escondido, Calif., formerly of Milton,
- died April 14, 2002 at his home from
a massive stroke.
- He was born Sept. 5, 1912 in Eau Claire,
Wis., the son of Myron and Florence TYLER. He
- graduated from Milton Union High School.
He married Lois STOLLER of Hinsdale, Ill., on June 14,
1942. He served as a private first class medic in the 101st Airborne
Unit in England during World War II. Before moving to Escondido,
Calif. in 1963 he was a surgical technician for nine years at
Mercy Hospital, Janesville. He was known for his popcorn stand
at sporting events and fairs in this area. His recipe for caramel
corn attracted many customers. He was a life-time member of the
Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
- He is survived by his wife, Lois, of
Escondido; two daughters, Karen ALBIN and Linda (Dale)
- REIS;
two grandchildren: Marlena ALBIN and Craig REIS,
all of California.

- Chase Nolan AEGERTER, infant
son of Craig and Melissa (SPERRY) AEGERTER of
- Janesville, died at birth on Monday,
April 29, 2002 at Mercy Hospital, Janesville.
- In addition to his parents, he is survived
by a brother, Nolan William AEGERTER at home;
- maternal grandparents, Charles AEGERTER
Sr. of Stoughton and Christine (Randy) CARPENTER of Janesville;
maternal great-grandmother, Margaret SORENSON; and paternal
great-grandparents Dorothy PORTER, both of Janesville;
aunts and uncles: Charles (Amy) AEGERTER Jr. and Samuel
AEGERTER, both of Janesville; T. J. AEGERTER of
Milton, Katie AEGERTER of Stoughton, Craig (Lynn) SPERRY
and Michelie (Larry) TRAPPE, both of Janesville; and cousins:
Jared and Kaitlin SPERRY, Ben and Brady TRAPPE
and Baily and Anthony AEGERTER.
- He was preceded in death by his paternal
great-grandparents: Howard PORTER and Ralph and
- Frances AEGERTER; and by materal
great-grandparents: Armond SORENSON and William and Hattie
SPERRY.
- Funeral services were held Saturday,
May 4, 2002 at the Schneider Funeral Home. Fr. Del Klink
- and Sr. Luycentia Klonecki officiated.
Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. [p. 4]
