Stephen J. O'CONNOR, age 93, formerly of 1427 Vista Ave., Janesville, died Tuesday, May 7,
2002, in North Port, FL. He was born in Rock County on May 15, 1908, the son of William and Mary Ann (McNALLY) O'CONNOR and was a graduate of Milton High School. He served in the Medical Corps at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Denver, CO. He married Gladys Mary ERBS on June 28, 1933, in Evansville. Together with Gladys, Stephen owned and operated Paris Beauty Shop in Janesville for over 30 years. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, May 14, 2002, in St. John Vianney
Catholic Church. Fr. Mike Doro officiated. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Schneider Funeral Home, Janesville, was in charge of arrangements. [p. 4]

Marjory CRANDALL NELSON, 89, of Milton died Sunday, May 12, 2002, at Mercy
Hospital, Janesville following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 25, 1912, the daughter of Darl RISDON CRANDALL and Wilmer
CRANDALL. She lived all her life in Milton. She was a member of Faith Methodist Church for over 50 years, the Milton Garden Club, Prairie du Lac Questers and the Milton Woman's Club.
She is survived by two sons: Gordon (Sue) NELSON of Brodhead and Gary (Maureen)
NELSON of Bayfield; eleven grandchildren: Alanna NELSON (Mourad CHAOUCH) of Vimercate, Italy, Stephanie NELSON of Menasha, Tracey NELSON (Pat WEEDEN) of Oregon, Tanya NELSON (Thea) of Cambridge, Eric NELSON (Kathy) of Luxemburg, Brian NELSON (Sherry) of Deforest, Emily PITTSLEY (Brian) of Waunakee, Molly POST (Tim) of Waunakee, Laura ERBRECHT of Madison; and ten great- grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Milton Cemetery.

Clement KUYKENDALL, 86, of 2234 Pioneer Road, Janesville, died Thursday, May 2, 2002,
at St.Mary's Hospital Medical Center in Madison.
He was born Feb. 27, 1916, in Richland County, the son of Sidney Dayre and Ethel (LOWRY)
KUYKENDALL. He served in the infantry during World War II spending four years in the Pacific Theatre. He married Jean BENNETT on Sept. 10, 1955. He was a resident of Janesville for ten years.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; three brothers, Samuel F., Richard C. (Sally) and Russell R.
(Patricia); two sisters, Helen K. JOHNSON and Jean (Shepard) BLUMENTHAL; sisters-in-law Ruth KUYKENDALL, Dolores KUYKENDALL, Arlene TRAXLER, Francis (Mickey) McMILLEN; a brother-in-law Rodney (Elaine) BENNETT; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Archie and Sidney; a brother-in-law
Marvin JOHNSON; and a sister-in-law Pauline KUYKENDALL.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at Albrecht Funeral Home. Rev. Douglas
Johnson officiated. [p. 4]

Ronald Jack COLEMAN, 67, of 936 Parkview Drive, died Tuesday, May 14, 2002, at Hospice
Haven, Janesville.
He was born Nov. 30, 1934 in Madison, the son of Byron COLEMAN and Edith FISCHER
COLEMAN. He married Wanda YOUNG on June 28, 1952 in Iowa. She died May 14, 1988. He lived most of his life in the area. He retired from General Motors and was a member of UAW #95 and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Janesville.
He is survived by his four daughters, Linda (Ed) BENNETT, Rhonda (Jim) OSHEL, Debbie
APPLEBEE and Pam (Tom) DeARMITT; five grandchildren: Michelle (Jim) BLUMER, Kara WILLIAMS, Chad WILLIAMS, Jason EGGEN and Rhiannon APPLEBEE; three great grandchildren: Kassie BLUMER, Morgan BLUMER and Dillan BLUMER; a brother, Kenneth (Donna) COLEMAN of Florida; and a special friend, Ruth BORCK.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda; his parents; two brothers, Wallace COLEMAN
and Sam COLEMAN; three sisters, Etta JONES, Georgia YANKE and Arlene COLEMAN; and a special niece, Dianne STEWART.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17 at Albrecht Funeral Home. Pastor Ron
Weber will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 16 from 6-8:30 p.m. at Albrecht Funeral Home. [p. 4]

Ronald James WANG, 30, of 140 E. Madison Ave., died Saturday, May 11, 2002, at home.
He was born Nov. 27, 1917 [1971] in Stanely, the son of Russell and Mary COULLIARD
WANG. He came to Milton 18 years ago and graduated from Milton High School. He played on the Milton High School State Championship Football Team of 1989. He worked for Cornerstone Construction Company as a mason.
He is survived by his father, Russell WANG of Edgerton; his mother, Mary TOMKOWIAK of
Stanley; a sister, Shannon NATZKE of Stanley; a niece and a nephew.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at Albrecht Funeral Home. Burial was in
Coon Prairie Cemetery in Viroqua. Rev. Glenn Skatrud officiated. [p. 4]
