On Sunday night last Mr. Jonathan BOND, an old and highly esteemed citizen of this
village, died at his residence here. Mr. BOND had reached the advanced age of 85 years. He had been quite feeble for some time past, and his death was not unexpected. The deceased had been a resident of Milton for upwards of thirty years, and he leaves a large circle of friends and relatives to mourn his death. The children are living in various parts of the country. Enoch F. BOND is now a resident of Madison; Samuel M. BOND of Minneapolis, Minn.; J. D. BOND of St. Paul, Minn.; James G. BOND, of Iowa; Wm. BOND of Cairo, Ill,; Mrs. Phoebe DRAPER of Madison; Mrs. Sarah ARMSTRONG, of Boscobel; Mrs. Fannie DENNETT, of Fulton; and Mrs. Mary BURDICK, and Miss Jane C. BOND, of this village. The funeral services will be held at the S.D.B. church in this village this afternoon, Rev. E. M. Dunn officiating, assisted by Rev. W. C. Whitford. [Wednesday edition, p. 4]
