born at Lima, Wis., February 25, 1884, and died in Shinglehouse, Pa., February 28, 1926, just three days past forty-two years of age.
Much of his life was spent in the state of Wisconsin, where he grew to manhood. A
short time was spent in South Dakota, and the last few years in New York and Pennsylvania.
On Nov. 14, 1906, he was united in marriage to Jesse E. LAWTON of Albion, Wis.

In 1896 he was baptized by the late George W. BURDICK and united with the
Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist church. When the Seventh Day Baptist church was organized at Exeland, Wis., he united with it, and here retained his membership until the time of his death.
For the past six years of his life he was practically an invalid, and much of the time
suffered intensely.
On Tuesday, March 2, funeral services were held in Shinglehouse, conducted by Rev.
Mr. Hughes, of the Baptist church. It was Mr. FREEBORN's wish to be brought to Milton Junction for burial and here a brief service was conducted by Erlo E. Sutton of the Seventh Day Baptist church last Friday.
Burial was in the Milton Junction cemetery.
The widow and daughters and Mr. and Mrs. Victor FREEBORN and daughter
Jeanette of Cuba, N.Y., accompanied the body here. Others from out of town who attended the services here were Mr. and Mrs. C. S. LAWTON, F. A. LAWTON, Mr. and Mrs. James HERRINGTON, Mr. and Mrs. Martin GUNDERSON and son Robert, all of Albion. [Thursday edition, p. 1]

The following notice was taken from the Williamsburg, Va., paper. Mr. and Mrs.
GREENMAN were both pioneer residents of Milton Junction. They built one of the first houses, and in the many years they lived here were closely identified with all movements for the growth and betterment of the village. Mrs. GREENMAN was the grandmother of Miss Lois MORRIS and Mrs. J. F. GALLAGHER.
"Funeral services for Mrs. Lois [P.] COLLINS GREENMAN, age 83 years, who
died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. L. KING, Thursday at 1 o'clock, will be conducted from the home tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. W. J. KING of Leesburg, Va. Interment will be made in Cedar Grove cemetery.
"Mrs. GREENMAN was born in New York state and moved to Wisconsin in
infancy. Her father, Dr. COLLINS, a pioneer in the west was one of the early state senators from Wisconsin. Mrs. GREENMAN was a woman of charming personality. Everyone who knew her loved her and she had a host of friends everywhere and especially among children.
"Mr. and Mrs. GREENMAN came to Virginia 24 years ago. Mr. GREENMAN
died 14 years ago, a few months after they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Since that time Mrs. GREENMAN had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. D. J. KING. She is survived by her daughter, one brother W. R. COLLINS of New York city; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren, whose homes are in Wisconsin and Florida." [Thursday edition, p. 1]
