Mrs. Francis [Frances] LANPHERE, 90, widow of G. W. LANPHERE for many years a resident of Milton, died Friday night, August 19, in the home of her son, M. M. LANPHERE. Francis [Frances Emma] MASON was born in Nunda, N.Y., March 15, 1842, and her marriage to G. W. LANPHERE took place December 24, 1862. He died eight years ago. Mrs. LANPHERE is survived by one son, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She had a wide circle of friends and was a member of the Milton S.D.B. church and Woman's Relief Corps. The funeral was conducted by Dr. Edwin Shaw, at the home of her son, on Sunday afternoon and burial was in the Milton cemetery. The pallbearers were George R. BOSS, J. D. CLARKE, L. A.
