- John Michael PFEIFFER, 70, for several years a blacksmith
in Milton and Milton
- Junction, died Sunday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. John
McCORD, Lima Center, where he had lived the past few years.
- He was born in Mollis, Switzerland, March 27, 1865, coming
to this country as a boy.
- On April 30, 1885, he married Thea C. NELSON, Janesville,
who died Dec. 11, 1900. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John
McCORD, Lima Center, and Mrs. Howard HOLLIDAY,
Riverside, Calif.; two sons, Ralph M., Lima Center, and Casper
H., Green Bay; several grandchildren; and two sisters and two
brothers in Switzerland.
- The funeral was held at 2 p. m. Tuesday in the Gray and Albrecht
funeral home,
- Milton Junction, Rev. T. C. Nagler of the M. E. church officiating.
Burial was in Milton Cemetery, the pallbearers being Loyal
HULL, T. I. PLACE, W. H. WATERMAN, A. D.
HASKINS, G. R. BOSS and S. N. LOWTHER, all
