- Mrs. W. W. CLARKE [nee Helen Elvine CRANDALL],
85, who had been in
- Memorial hospital, Edgerton, since she fell and fractured
her hip October 30th, died Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. The funeral
will be held in the Seventh Day Baptist church at Milton on Sunday,
Dec. 13th, at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Milton.
- Friends wishing to see the body may call at the Crandall
funeral home in Milton Friday
- evening of Saturday morning.
- Mrs. CLARKE was born in New York state on June 5,
1851, and came to Milton
- when she was seventeen years old. Mr. CLARKE died

- William J[ames] PATTERSON, route 1, Milton Junction,
died early Wednesday
- morning from a heart ailment following a three days illness.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 P.M. in the Gray
and Albrecht funeral home, Rev. C. E. Ostrander, of Whitewater
Congregational church, officiating. Burial will be in Milton.
Pallbearers are Howard MORGAN, Theodore KLUG,
Fred COLEMAN, Eugene HULL, Lee BASSETT and
Fred WEGNER.
- Mr. PATTERSON was born in Milton on Jan. 26, 1861.
On Dec. 8, 1897, he
- married Miss Mary WOLF of Hebron who survives him.
Other survivors are four children, Mrs. Rodney KOLLS
of Madison, Mrs. Clarence CARROLL, Carl and William PATTERSON,
Jr., five grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. M. D. GOODMAN
of Salt Lake City, Utah. [Thursday edition, p. 1]
