- Henry Lewis ASHLEY, son of John and Pharozine GARTHWAITE
ASHLEY,
- was born at Rock River, Oct. 22, 1867. He died at the home
of his nephew, Nelson VAN HORN, at Milton, Oct.
27, 1937, aged 70 years and five days.
- He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Hattie E. VAN HORN
of Milton; three nephews,
- Nelson VAN HORN of Milton, Arthur and Wesley VAN
HORN of Janesville; one niece, Mrs. Wilmer DAVIS,
of Janesville; numerous cousins, and a host of friends.
- Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Milton
Junction S.D.B. church,
- Rev. J. F. Randolph, officiating. [Thursday edition, p.

- Sherman L[eslie] CRANDALL, Brodhead, died Wednesday.
Funeral services will
- be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Brodhead with burial at Milton
Junction about 3 p.m.
- Mr. CRANDALL had a photograph gallery in Milton Junction
a number of years ago
- and is well known here.
- His wife, the former Ina KELLY, died about five years
ago. Surviving is a daughter,
- Mrs. Fyrne AYERS who lived with him, and a sister,
Mrs. G. E. COON of Milton Junction. [Thursday edition,
