- John M[ichael] MANOGUE, Milton Junction route 2, died
at 11:20 p.m. Friday
- after an illness of three and a half months.
- He was born in Jefferson county July 6, 1867, and was married
to Sarah KENNEDY
- on Sept. 18, 1897 in St. Mary's church, Janesville. Mr. MANOGUE
was engaged in farming during his entire life. He was a member
of St. Mary's Court of the Catholic Order of Foresters and was
the first chief ranger of that order.
- Survivors are his wife and five sons, Leo, William, John,
Darrel and Joseph, all of
- Rock county; four daughters, Aileen, Mercedes, Mrs. Lawrence
GODFREY and Mrs. Joseph FANNING, all of Rock county;
20 grandchildren; one brother, James MANOGUE, and four
sisters, Sister Mary Eulalia, Gary, Ind., Mrs. James BRADLEY,
Milwaukee, Mrs. John FANNING, Whitewater, and Mrs. James
SYNNOTT, town of Harmony.
- Funeral services were held at 8:30 a. m. Monday in the home
and at 9 a. m. in St.
- Mary's Catholic church, Milton Junction, the Rev. F. X. Schneider
officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. Pall bearers
were Emmett MANOGUE, James SYNNOTT, William RAYMOND,
John FANNING, and Russell BRADY of Milwaukee. [Thursday
