- OBITUARY - Stella J. BROWN, 52, of Janesville,
formerly of Footville, died Sunday, March 12th, at Rock Haven
Nursing Home, Janesville.
- She was born in the town of Newark, Jan. 17, 1917, the daughter
of Sherman and
- Mabel QUINN BROWN. She was a member of the
Footville Church of Christ.
- Survivors include her mother, Mabel of Beloit, two sisters,
Ethel (George)
- BECKMAN of Japan and Geraldine (Arland) NELSON
of Beloit; four brothers, Roy (Joyce) of Telford, PA, Roger of
Janesville, Lloyd (Betty) of Denver and Kenneth of Cupertino,
CA. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Alice
NELSON.
- Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, at Newcomer-Silverthorn
Funeral
- Home, Orfordville. David Kinnick will officiate. Burial will
be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Orfordville. Friends may call from
1:30 to the time of services at the funeral home.
