- In Milton, Wis. Jan. 24th, 1880 of
dropsy, Mrs. Maranda L. LANGWORTHY
- [nee GOODWIN]. She was born
in Brookfield, N.Y., Dec. 4th 1800, was married in 1822 and raised
ten children, eight of whom are still living. Her husband died
about fourteen years ago. She was a very kind mother and a generous,
accommodating neighbor. She never openly professed hope in Christ
but was a lover and diligent reader of the Bible, and in her
last sickness was known to pray frequently. N. W. [Vol. 36,

Clarissa B. BROWN, wife of Fitch
- BROWN,
aged 73 years, 9 months, and 11 days. The deceased was a consistent
Christian, an affectionate wife and mother. She has gone to her
reward. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord."
